Admin Center in Service Operations Workspace for ITSM

  • The Admin Center provides centralized control of the instance to admins. It provides effortless, quick access to manage all customizations in Service Operations Workspace (SOW) for IT Service Management (ITSM), and additional plugins that extend the Service Operations Workspace for ITSM capabilities.

    The Admin Center provides a single page where an admin can access all platform capabilities, applications, plugins, and help. It consists of the following tabs:
    • Overview: Provides access to all customizations available in Service Operations Workspace for ITSM.
    • Configurations: Provides access to page-related customizations available in Service Operations Workspace for ITSM. For example, the landing page and incident record page.
    The following admin roles can access the Admin Center.
    • sn_sow_itsm_admin.sow_admin_user: Granular level role used to access pages in the Admin Center for SOW configuration. This role is also referred to as an SOW admin role. An SOW admin can perform configurations related to ServiceNow® Incident Management only.

    • admin: The admin or sys_admin role has access to all the pages in the Admin Center. An admin can perform configurations for all modules in the Admin Center.
