Start a conference call using Microsoft Teams in Service Operations Workspace

  • Start a conference call from Microsoft Teams to work towards the resolution of an incident.

    Before you begin

    Role required: itil

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Service Operations Workspace.
    2. Select the List (List icon) icon.
    3. Select Incidents > Open.
    4. Select the incident record.
    5. Select the Collaborate (Collaborate icon) icon from the contextual side panel.
    6. Select the Calls tab, and then select the plus (+) icon.
    7. Select Start MS Teams meeting.
    8. On the form, fill in the fields.

      Field Description
      Conference bridge Option to choose the conference bridge.
      Title Option to provide a title for the conference call
      Add participants

      Options to add participants for the conference call.

      Include a brief message for participants Provide a brief summary about the issue to be discussed in the conference call.
    9. Select Start.
