Edit a software discovery model using the legacy Software Asset Management plugin

    • You can edit only the Software model field and Approved check box on the legacy Software Asset Management (com.snc.software_asset_management) plugin Software Discovery Models form.

    About this task

    If the information automatically added to the Software model field is incorrect, you can change to an existing model or create a new one.

    None of the software discovery model records are approved when they are created. You must approve them manually after you have reviewed them for accuracy or normalized them. If the automatically generated software model is correct, approve the model.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Software Asset > Reconciliation > Discovery models.
    2. Click an entry in the Publisher column.
    3. Select Approved.
