Get notified about the vendors you manage using the Vendor Management Mobile application

  • Receive notifications when a P1 incident is created or resolved. You can also get notified if another incident gets upgraded to P1 or when a vendor outage occurs.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_vlm.vendor_manager

    About this task

    You must set your notification preferences in your desktop application to receive the notifications in your ITSM Mobile Agent application.

    Procedure

    1. Enable notifications on your desktop application instance.
      1. Select your profile and the select Preferences.
      2. Select Notifications.
      3. Select Core UI.
      4. Enable Allow Notifications.
      5. In the IT Service Management section, enable the following notification:
        • Incident opened for vendor
        • Outage opened for vendor
    2. Receive notifications on your mobile application when the following tasks are triggered:
      • A P1 incident is created or resolved
      • Another incident gets upgraded to a P1 incident
      • A vendor outage record is created
