Configuring maximum multiple appointments
Enhance Walk-up Experience service experience by helping requesters to book multiple appointments simultaneously. You can configure the location to accept multiple bookings and also decide the maximum number of appointments a requester can book at a location.
Only one appointment could be booked by a requester with Walk-up Experience appointment booking feature. The requesters could not book any follow-up appointments. For example, requester has scheduled a laptop drop-off appointment and wants to schedule a pick-up appointment in advance.
With enhanced appointment booking feature, the requesters can now book multiple appointments simultaneously.
Scheduling multiple appointments, the requesters and the agents can maintain the context of the service request. To reduce back and forth communication and resolve issues seamlessly, the agents can also book multiple appointments on behalf of the requester.
- Administrators: The administrators can decide and configure the maximum number of appointments a requester can book for a particular location. For example, at Santa Clara tech lounge location, set up the maximum number of appointments as 2. The requester can only schedule two appointments in advance. If maximum number of appointments per user is changed or modified, existing appointments are not affected. The change is applied to all future appointment bookings.
