    • Variable time slots, such as work duration and dates, for appointments can be configured and booked based on the reason for a location. The reason can be an issue or request.

    This feature enables you to do the following:
    • Configure variable time slots for booking an appointment based on the different reason for a location by creating advanced configurations and service configuration rules.
      Note:
      The service configuration rules and the advanced configurations must not overlap each other.
    • Communicate to the customers about the availability of the agents for a location.
    • Manage the walk-up locations and resources more effectively and efficiently.

    To enable this feature, select the Enable advanced configurations check box on the Appointment Booking Service Configuration form.

    You can create multiple advance configurations for a service configuration rule.
