  • You can create your own base policies that have broad sets of conditions that you can use as starting points for more complex policies.

    Examples

    The following examples will help you see how you can reuse the conditions of a base policy when you create other policies by creating child policies or cloning existing policies. These examples also help you see how the policy builder works in the Policies and findings module.

    Start with the first example, the Base policy. The other examples use the base policy as a starting point.

    Note:
    The CrowdStrike service graph connector is used as the service graph connector in these examples, but you can use any connector that you have installed. These examples have you create and activate the polices to look for asset matches. You can remove these policies at any time from the Policies and Findings module after you activate them.
