# Cancel an internal review task

# Cancel an internal review task {#ariaid-title1}

As a contract fulfiller, cancel a review task irrespective of its state.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_cm_core.contract_fulfiller

## Procedure

1. Open the review task from workspace that you are using.

2. Select Cancel review.  
   If you have selected Cancel review from the Reviews tab, select the review task to be canceled in the pop-up window.
3. In the Comments field, enter information for canceling the request
4. Select Yes, cancel.

## Result

* The review task is canceled and the cancellation comments appear in the Additional Comments section of the contract request.
* When all the review tasks are cancelled or closed, the contract request State updates to Work in progress.
