Create banner content that your employees can view on their mobile
devices.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_cd.content_manager

Define the link: [Add or modify links to other content sources](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/H42NHKLmaE_yEykTlhO8Sw "Use link content to create URL or video links. You can use these links on the Employee Center, in a campaign, or in Communities (when Communities is installed).")

## Procedure

1. Navigate to Content PublishingContent Library.
2. Select New or existing content.
3. Select Mobile under the Select the Platform column.
4. Select Mobile Banner under the Choose a content format section.
5. Select Continue.
6. Fill in the fields in the Mobile Content form.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Title | Title of the mobile banner. |
   | Content type | The content type you are creating or editing. Select Mobile Banner. |
   | Active | Indicates the content is active and available for use. |
   | Image | Image to display for the mobile banner. |
   | Link | Link to use with the mobile banner. The link displays when the user taps anywhere on the banner. |
   | Header text | Text that appears in the header of the banner (max 80 characters). |
   | Text | Text that displays in the body of the banner. |
   | Order | When you have multiple pieces of content that appear in a carousel, you can define the order they appear. Enter a number defining the order the content appears on the service portal or Employee Center. Content appears closer to the beginning of the carousel when assigned a lower number. Note: Use increments of 100 when determining the order. This method makes it easier to edit. For example, you numbered your links 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and wanted to place a new content after 2. You would have to renumber 3, 4, and 5. If you use 100, 200, and 300 and wanted to place content from 100 through 200, you would simply use any number from 101 through 199. |

7. Right-click the form header and select Save.
The Schedule Content related list displays.
8. Or select Submit to save the record and return to the list of content.

## What to do next

Make the content available to users: [Scheduling the delivery of content](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/OZoJNUOyMTiNe2HlFlBsaA "After you create content in Content Publishing, use Schedule Content to post to your Employee Center, in a campaign, To-dos, email notifications, and community.").

Alternatively, you can build out a more robust publishing configuration using [Creating campaigns with Content Experiences](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/UIgual3XKkMkhkD9gPr~EQ "Campaigns offer a powerful content publishing tool that provides organizations with the ability to efficiently deliver targeted information to their employees. As a content manager, you can configure multiple channels to ensure content reaches the intended audience at the optimal time.")
