Install the Journey Accelerator \[sn_ja\] application to enable your users to
easily create and manage transition plans.

## Before you begin

The Employee Center must be installed and activated. Managers, employees, and mentors access Journey Accelerator plans from the EC.

* If you are planning to use the Journey Accelerator v2 scheduling feature, see [Microsoft Exchange Online setup for Journey Accelerator](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/wmP4QBZ5rK_490zjvqkCBQ "By integrating the Journey Accelerator scheduling feature with the Microsoft Office 365 calendar function, users can schedule plans and to-do tasks.") before you begin installation.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllSystem ApplicationsAll Available ApplicationsAll. {#install-journey-accelerator__step_activate_plugin_nav}

2. Find the application using the filter criteria and search bar.  
   You can search for the application by its name or ID. If you cannot find an
   application, you may have to request it from the ServiceNow Store.{#install-journey-accelerator__p_gd1_nfg_h1c}

   Visit the [ServiceNow Store](https://store.servicenow.com/sn_appstore_store.do#!/store/home) website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store. 3. Select a version from the list and select Install.  
   In the Review Installation Details dialog box, any dependencies installed with your application are listed.{#install-journey-accelerator__p_id1_nfg_h1c}

4. If you're prompted, follow the links to the ServiceNow Store to get any additional entitlements for dependencies. {#install-journey-accelerator__step-review-dependencies}

5. **Optional:** If demo data is available and you want to install it, select the Load demo data check box.  
   Demo data comprises the sample records that describe application features for the common use cases. Load the demo data when you first install the application on a development or test instance. {#install-journey-accelerator__step-load-demo-data}
