Submit a legal request for review of third-party contracts by the legal
team.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_lg_ops.legal_user

## About this task

* You can submit a request for review of a third-party contract to engage legal counsel, get answers to questions from the third party, or have the terms and conditions provided by them reviewed.
* The certificate of completion is generated only if you have configured the system property `sn_lg_contracts.enable_executed_contract_audit_certificate`. ## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllLegal RequestLegal Service Portal.  
   Note:  
   If you're using [Employee Center](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/xGLtfD7pLDCvsFRshZjnCQ "ServiceNow Employee Center portal is a standard multi-department, dynamic portal for service delivery, and employee engagement."), you can submit a legal request by navigating to the Employee Center portal and selecting a request from the Legal servicesBrowse Legal services menu.
2. Select Service Catalog to view all the available request categories.
3. Search for and open the Third Party Contract Review request item.
4. On the Third Party Contract Review form, fill in the fields.  
   For a description of the field values, see [Third Party Contract Review form](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/xLvqu3Hl1oSlGHjMXsxUAQ "The Third Party Contract Review form is used to submit a legal request to the legal department to get the third-party contracts reviewed.").
5. Click Submit.

## Result

A legal request for reviewing of the attached third-party contract document is created in the New state.
