# Impact rating in Classic Workspace

# Configure an impact rating to assess an impact category {#ariaid-title1}

Configure a rating for each category to help you measure the intensity of loss when a business downtime occurs.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_bcm.admin

## About this task

You can define the impact ratings to assess an impact category as low, moderate, high, or critical.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to Business ContinuityGeneral AdministrationImpact Ratings.
2. Click New.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Name | Name of the impact rating. |
   | Value | Numerical value for the impact rating. |
   | Impact Category | Category of impact. For example, Workforce impact, Regulatory impact, Revenue impact, and others. |
   | Impact analysis question | This field appears if the impact category of the business disruption contributes to RPO. |
   | Tolerable | Option for enabling the RTO impact as tolerable. This check box appears only if the impact category contributes to RTO. |
   | Description | Short description about the impact rating |

4. Click Submit.
