# Approve a risk event

A user with the sn_risk.manager role must approve a valid risk event. If any risk
approver rejects the event, the state of the risk event changes to rejected.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_risk.manager

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllMy Approvals.
2. Click the record in the list with your name as the approver.
3. Click Approve.
