# Initiate a chat from Sidebar in Parallel Review and Feedback {#ariaid-title1}

Initiate a Sidebar chat to collaborate among different stakeholders to brainstorm solutions, clarify details, or coordinate actions regarding the feedback received.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_rvw_feedback.reader

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllRiskRisk Workspace.
2. Select the list ![list icon.]() icon.
3. From the list, navigate to Parallel Review and Feedback and select Feedback.
4. Open the Feedback that you want to discuss.
5. Select Discuss.  
   The Start a Sidebar discussion dialog box appears.
6. To initiate Sidebar discussion from the record side-panel, open the record that you want to discuss and do the following:
   1. In the side-panel, select the list ![side panel list icon.]() icon.
   2. Select the feedback.
   3. Select the More actions ![More actions icon.]() icon on the feedback, and select Discuss.

7. In the Start a Sidebar discussion dialog box, fill in the fields as appropriate.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Subject | Option to provide a title for the sidebar discussion. |
   | Add participants | Options to add participants for the sidebar discussion. Note: You can include any users with access to this record in this discussion. |
   | Include a brief message for participants | Brief summary about the feedback to be discussed in the sidebar discussion. |

8. Select Start discussion.
