Enable or disable notifications

    • Enable notifications to stay informed and engaged receiving timely updates and notifications about important events and activities within the system.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_dex_desktop.admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Desktop Assistant > Configuration > Application.

      The Desktop Assistant page that provides options to modify your home page title or brief description, as well as to activate notifications and the chat icon.

    2. On the Desktop Assistant page, select or clear Notifications Enabled.
    3. Select Update.

    Result

    If you enable notifications, a bell icon (The Notifications bell icon) appears on the Desktop Assistant header. If you disable notifications, a bell icon disappears from the header.

    When enabled, push notifications are sent to employees using Desktop Assistant.
