Compose and send emails directly from a supplier case or a supplier task in the Source-to-Pay Workspace.

## Before you begin

Ensure that you have configured access to the compose email feature. For more
information, see [Configure access to the compose email feature](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/J5Army51pw0G2Bow98jqTQ "Configure the role required to access the compose email feature that enables you to send emails directly from a supplier case or supplier task in the Source-to-Pay Workspace.").

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllSupplier Lifecycle OperationsSource-to-Pay Workspace.
2. Select the list icon (![List icon.]()).
3. On the Lists tab, under the Cases or Tasks module, open a supplier case or a supplier task, respectively.
4. Click the more actions icon (![More actions icon.]()) and select Compose Email.
5. Do one of the following:  
   * To insert templated content into the email body using quick messages:
     1. Click the quick messages icon (![Quick Messages icon]()) and select an appropriate quick message that you want to use.
     2. Select Insert.

   * To insert templated content into the email body using response templates:
     1. Click the response templates icon (![Response templates icon]()) and select an appropriate response template that you want to use.
     2. Select Copy to clipboard.
     3. Paste the content in the email body.

6. Do one of the following:  
   * To send the email instantly, select Send Email.
   * To save the email as draft to send later, select Save as draft.

   Note:  
   You can view the draft emails by doing one of the following:
   * Selecting the Draft Emails tab on the supplier case or supplier task.
   * Clicking the list icon (![List icon.]()), selecting the Case Draft Emails list or Task Draft Emails sub-modules under the Draft Emails module, and opening a draft email.
