# Customize a record page

# Customize a record page {#ariaid-title1}

To customize a record page, you first create a variant, or copy, of the page and then
make changes to the variant.

## Before you begin

Role required: workspace_admin, ui_builder_admin, admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllNow Experience FrameworkUI Builder.
2. Select the CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace experience.
3. Select the desired page in the Page list.  
   For example, select Record page.
4. Select the desired default record page from the Variants list.  
   For example, select CSM default record page.
5. Select the additional actions menu for this page and then select Duplicate to create a copy of the page variant.
6. Rename the copy of the page variant.
   1. Select the copy of the page variant in the Variants list.
   2. Select the additional actions menu for this page and then select Edit page variant settings.
   3. Enter a new name in the Variant name field.
   4. Select Save

7. Now you can customize the page variant.

8. To delete a page variant:
   1. Locate the page variant to be deleted in the Pages and variants list.
   2. Select the additional actions menu for this page variant and then select Delete variant.
   3. On the confirmation dialog, select Delete.

   The system removes the page variant from the Pages and variants list.
