# Associate a quick link to a topic

# Associate a quick link to a topic {#ariaid-title1}

Associate quick links to topics to quickly view important content, such as knowledge
articles, catalog, items, internal pages, and external links.

## Before you begin

Role required: taxonomy_admin

User criteria required: Taxonomy Manager.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllContent TaxonomyTopics.
2. Click and open the topic to associate with a quick link.
3. On the Quick Link tab, click New.

4. On the form, fill in the fields.  
   For more information on the fields and description, see [Quick Link form](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/xjXFIwXGmS9DxXqWyV2Thg "Use the Quick Link form to create a new quick link and specify the content type for the quick link.").  
   Note:  
   You can't add a quick link as a featured item.
5. Click Submit.
