Set the proficiency level automatically for the skills across jobs based on the skill level type and role group.

## Before you begin

The job level progression must have been defined. For more information, see [Creating a job level progression](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/ODxIZm~bMLhlRBzHOvxKgw "Create a progression from one job level to another to identify the growth path in your organization.").

Role required: sn_skills_int.admin

## About this task

Note:  
If no configuration is created for the proficiency level, the default configuration is applied to all the progressions.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllJob ArchitectureRole Groups.
2. Select Proficiency Autofill Configuration.
3. Select New.
4. On the Proficiency autofill form, fill in the fields.  
   For a description of the field values, see [Proficiency level autofill configuration form](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/d2xAPL4tHAe1xAhmpGYRnQ "Form to create a configuration to autofill the proficiency for a skill.").
5. Select Submit.

## What to do next

Run the scheduled job Role level skill proficiency autofill to populate the proficiencies automatically.
