## Summary of Automation Center Executions dashboard

The Automation Center Executions dashboard offers ServiceNow customers a centralized view to monitor the health and performance of automations.
It consolidates execution data, including runs and statuses, and supports importing automation metrics from third-party technologies.
This enables comprehensive tracking and management of automation workflows within your ServiceNow instance.

You can access the dashboard either through Automation Center Home by selecting the Executions tab or via the Automation Center Workspace under Executions.

## Key Features

* **Execution Visualizations:** Multiple charts and tables present execution data, such as automation states, incidents, and changes affecting automations and related business applications.
* **Filtering Options:** Data can be filtered by Department, Automation Source, and Application, allowing tailored views of execution metrics.
* **Execution Summary by State:** Displays statuses of automations, helping to quickly understand their current state.
* **Incident and Change Tracking:** Charts highlight incidents and changes impacting automations and their associated business applications, facilitating proactive management.
* **Execution Trends Over Time:** A time-based chart with date range filtering shows execution states and trends, defaulting to the last week's data.
* **Transaction Summary:** Provides detailed execution metrics of spokes over the last 24 hours, including active applications, actions in use, total transactions, and flow-specific transaction statuses.
* **Insights Panel:** Identifies issues within Automation Center that require attention. Users can address or ignore these insights to maintain automation reliability.

**Note:** Viewing Automation incidents, changes, and business application changes widgets requires specific roles beyond Automation Center roles, such as `itil`, `snincidentread`, or `snchangeread`.

## Key Outcomes

* Centralized monitoring of automation executions helps maintain operational health and quickly identify problem areas.
* Filtering and detailed execution data empower teams to analyze automation performance by department, source, or application.
* Insight-driven issue identification encourages timely resolution, reducing disruptions in automation workflows.

of charts and tables. These charts give an overview of the entire execution process.
You can filter all data that is displayed on this page using the four filters available:

* Department
* Automation
* Source
* Application
{#executions-dash__ul_ydd_3gq_bwb}

If you don't specify any filter, then all available data is displayed.
Note:
To view the Automation incidents, Automation changes, and Business application changes widgets, in addition to the Automation Center roles you need to have the itil or sn_incident_read and sn_change_read roles.

| Section | Description |
|-|-|
| Execution summary by state | This chart displays the execution status of automations in different states. This information helps in understanding the status of the automations. |
| Automation incidents | This chart provides information about any incidents that have a direct impact on the automations. For example, if five automations are on hold, this chart lets you know about those five automations. This information enables you to manage the automations better. |
| Automation changes | This chart focuses on any change that has a direct impact on the automations. |
| Business application changes | This chart provides information about any change to the business applications that are associated with the automations. |
| Execution state over time | This chart provides information about the state of the executions for a time period. There's a date range filter for this chart. If you select a date range, the data is limited to the selected date range, or else the default date range is selected, which is last one week. |
| Execution summary | This chart displays the number of executions and their respective states sorted by automation name. |
