# Create a Space in CWM

Create Spaces in Collaborative Work Management to enable cross-functional teams to come together and manage work tasks and documentation.

## Before you begin

[Install Collaborative Work Management](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/KX~08f757vpB9y327e3jyA "You can install the Collaborative Work Management (CWM) application (sn_cwm) if you have the admin role. The application includes demo data and installs related ServiceNow Store applications and plugins if they are not already installed.").

Role required: sn_cwm.cwm_user

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesCollaborative Work Management.
2. From the left side panel, select + CreateNew Space.  
3. In the Space name field, enter a name for the Space.  
4. Select Create.

## Result

A new Space is created and added right below the My Space section. You can add as many Spaces as you need for each of your projects, teams, or other assignments.
