Associate a custom dashboard to your Enterprise Agile Planning configurations to track and measure key metrics for your teams.

## Dashboard configuration overview {#configuring-eap-dashboard__section_opk_541_dzb}

Get visibility into metrics of your Agile teams such as progress, blockers, team performance trends, and others using dashboards. You can associate any of the default dashboards or create a dashboard with custom queries to view and
track specific metrics for your Agile team.  
EAP provides the following dashboards for different default configurations:{#configuring-eap-dashboard__table_dqd_vtc_3bc__entry__6}

Important:  
You can only copy and customize an Inline dashboard.  
The following tasks require the admin or EAP admin (sn_apw_advanced.eap_admin) role.

2. [Create a dashboard in EAP](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/EXG6QrLq7kHW3S5l0uCi2A "Create a dashboard to track key metrics for your custom Agile configuration by creating a dashboard or duplicating and editing a default EAP dashboard.").
3. [Add a tag to the EAP dashboard](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/0SONRvlw48~BqYWsKQipmw "Add the EAP dashboards tag to identify your dashboard. The dashboards with tag appear in the reference qualified definition list, which helps you to add the dashboard to your configuration detail.").
4. [Associate the EAP read-only role to the dashboard](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/BVzXzMZDIZrA8XTSVYoHmg "Associate the EAP read-only (sn_apw_advanced.eap_read_only) role to the dashboard. The users with this role can view and edit the dashboard for the teams in their Agile configuration.").
