# Access Project Workspace

Learn how to navigate to Project Workspace and open a project in the planning page.

## Before you begin

[Install Project Workspace](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/LAWvOrPqGXI6CkJYHdFMdw "You can install the Project Workspace application (sn_pw) if you have the admin role.").

Role required: it_project_manager

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesProject Workspace. {#access-new-project-workspace__s01}

2. Depending on the projects that you want to view, select My Projects or All Projects.  
   Projects on the homepage can be viewed in card or list view.

3. Select a project to open it in the planning page.  

   You can access and manage Planning, Details, Financials, RIDAC, Analytics, Docs, and Status Reports using the list that appears when you select the Projects icon. This list is also called as Level two (L2)
   menu.
