Use the Context Variable form to create a context
variable for a target source for calculating the actual value of the target based on the
configured input values.

| Field | Description |

| Type | Context variable type. For information about the different field types, see [Field types](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=r_FieldTypes&version=yokohama&pubname=yokohama-platform-administration&ft:locale=en-US). |
| Application | Name of the application scope. |
| Label | Name of the label that the context variable type is created for. |
| Column name | ID of the context variable for which the context variable type is created. |
| Choice List Specification | Option to display the context variables on the Target form in the Actual Value Source Configuration section. |
| Default value | Default value to consider for updating the actual value of the target. |
