Cancel the guided testing process after it has started so that you can restart it
when appropriate.

## Before you begin

* Add test cases to the test plan.
* [Assign testers from the Test Plan form](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/kojwQ1v9C4OUPTx3w8plVw "Use the Test Cases related list on the Test Plan form to assign testers.").

## About this task

Use the related link on the Test Plan form to cancel a test execution that has
already started.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllTest ManagementTest ExecutionTest Plans.
2. Open the test plan that you want to stop the testing for.
3. Click the Cancel test execution related link.
4. Click OK.

## Result

A message indicates that the test plan execution has been canceled and the metric
type that has been created for the test plan is deleted.

The Cancel test execution related link on the Test Plan page
changes to Notify Tester.
