# View an alert group analysis by Now Assist in Express List {#ariaid-title1}

View an alert group analysis created by Now Assist using generative AI. The analysis offers a simplified, human-readable description of the alert group and technical information to help you investigate it more efficiently.

## Before you begin

Note:  
Currently, ServiceNow Otto for ITOM only analyzes tag-based, CMDB, Log Analytics, Mixed, and Network Traffic-based alert groups. For all other alert group types, it only analyzes the parent alert.

Role required: evt_mgmt_operator

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesService Operations Workspace.
2. In the navigation bar, select the Express List icon (![Express List icon.]()).
3. In the Active alerts list, select the information icon (![Information icon.]()) next to an alert group to display the preview panel.
4. On the preview panel Info tab, select Analyze in Alert analysis by Now Assist.
5. View the information provided in the Alert analysis.
6. **Optional:** Use the Alert analysis icons to perform related tasks.
