Entitle an application from your ServiceNow instance

    Before you begin

    Purchase the application on ServiceNow Store.
    Note:

    Legacy Application Manager is being prepared for deprecation. For details, see the Deprecation Process [KB0867184] article in the Now Support Knowledge Base.

    A known issue affects the use of bookmarks to access the Legacy Application Manager.     A new Application Manager experience is available. The new experience simplifies the process of managing your licensed applications by consolidating them in one convenient location, displaying all applications, plugins, installed applications, and available updates. For more information, see Application Manager.

    Role required: admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to System Applications > All Available Applications > All.
    2. From the filter options, select the Instance not entitled indicator.
      All the purchased unentitled apps are displayed.
      Note:
      The Instance not entitled filter is only displayed if your instance has an application that has been purchased and not entitled.
    3. Select the menu icon ( Menu icon ) on the application tile, and select Entitle this instance.
      Entitle an app.
    4. In the Application entitlement dialog box, select OK.

    Result

    Application entitlement is provided to your ServiceNow instance.

    What to do next

    Install the application if it’s compatible with the version of your ServiceNow instance.
