Import the project information from the Black Duck integration instance

    • Import the project information from the Black Duck integration instance to make sure that the vulnerability integrations run sequentially. A successful integration helps you to identify and ingest the application vulnerable items (AVIs).

    Role required: App-Sec Manager group

    About this task

    You can import all the project information from Vulnerability Response Integration with Black Duck in the [sn_vul_blackduck_project] Black Duck projects table. All the required attributes, for example, Project GUID, which are required to query for different versions of the project, are captured in the [sn_vul_blackduck_project] Black Duck projects table.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Blackduck Vulnerability Integration > Integrations.
    2. Select an integration.
      For example, you can select the Black Duck Project List Integration.
    3. Select Execute Now.
      Note:
      Each Vulnerability Response Integration with Black Duck is intended to provide the most complete data retrieval. Running these integrations out of order could result in incomplete data and requires ServiceNow and Application Vulnerability Response expertise.

      After the import is complete, you can see the project details in the [sn_vul_blackduck_project] Black Duck projects table.

    4. For integration run statuses, see View the Vulnerability Response Integration with Black Duck import run status.
    5. Optional: If you want to modify other integration parameters, you must navigate to the integration instance.
