Install the required applications for AWS Integration for Security Exposure Management

  • Install the required applications for the integration.

    Before you begin

    Role required: admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > System Applications > All Available Applications.
    2. Locate an application that you want to install.
      Application Description
      Vulnerability Response (Host) The Vulnerability Response application is required.
      Container Vulnerability Response (CVR) Install Container Vulnerability Response if you want to use the container vulnerability integration.
      Configuration Compliance (CC) Install Configuration Compliance if you want to use the test results integration.
      AWS Integration for Security Exposure Management The AWS Integration for Security Exposure Management is required.
    3. Select the card to open it and select Install.
      See Install a ServiceNow Store application for more information about installing Store applications.
      The Dependency Checklist dialog is displayed. Select any (Needs to be installed) links to install any required dependencies you have not already installed.
    4. Select Install in the Application Installation dialog.
      A message is displayed after the application is successfully installed.
    5. Assign the following roles:
      sn_vul_aws.configure_integration
      Allows you to configure authentication credentials for the AWS plugin.
      sn_vul_aws.read_integration
      Provides read access to AWS integrations and AWS tables.
