Learn how the Now Assist in Catalog Builder application helps you to create catalog items by simply describing them. Now Assist generates catalog items with more detailed descriptions and question labels.

## Now Assist in Catalog Builder overview {#explore-now-assist-for-catalog-generate__section_jyr_kff_cbc}

In Catalog Builder, you can describe the catalog item you want, and Now Assist generates the catalog item for you.

The application uses the Catalog item generation skill to create catalog items.  
Note:  
You must be assigned the catalog_builder_editor role to create the items using Now Assist.
