Using personal notes agents can record information that remains private and is not visible to other agents working on that case.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_hr_core.case_writer

## About this task

Unlike working notes, which are accessible to all agents assigned to a case, personal notes provide a secure way to document sensitive information that shouldn't be shared with the broader team. For example, when managing
Employee Relations cases, agents can use personal notes to document confidential details.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllHR Case ManagementAgent Workspace for HR Case Management.
2. Select the Lists icon (![]()).
3. Select an HR case.
4. In the Contextual Side Panel, select the Personal Notes icon( ![]()).
The case must be in ready, work in progress, or awaiting acceptance state.
5. Enter your notes.
6. **Optional:** Select +Add file to add an attachment.
