Configure dynamic tables in a contract template to display additional data from related table fields by appending it to existing columns or adding it as new columns.

## About this task

As a contract configurator, you can add scripts for configuring the mapped table columns in a contract template to include additional fields from related tables. You can choose to either append this information to an existing
column or add it as a new column.

## Before you begin

* Map tables in Microsoft Word document using the Microsoft Word add-in for ServiceNow Contracts. For more information, see [Map contract tables using the Microsoft Word add-in for ServiceNow Contracts](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/5fZXs5qgLPfomwzsq3VF4Q "Use the ServiceNow Contracts add-in to map a contract table to a source table in your ServiceNow instance to determine the data that will be added in a contract document. When a contract document is generated from the template, the rows and columns are dynamically added in the mapped table of the contract document.").
* Upload and parse the document with the content controls. For more information, see [Complete mapping and upload Microsoft Word document that includes content controls](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/xPKrRcRy32fPMUQLEJg_AA "As a contract configurator, after adding the content controls to the Microsoft Word document to be used for the contract template using the Microsoft Word Add-in for ServiceNow Contracts, upload the document to the ServiceNow instance.").
* Role required: sn_cm_core.contract_config
