You can view quick links associated with root topics on the mega menu.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## About this task

You can associate quick links with a root topic so that it appears on the mega menu under Quick Links. Only the quick links that you associated with root topics are shown on the mega menu. For more information, see [Associate a quick link to a topic](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/SHApSCyfHZ04GGbgjVnh9Q "Associate quick links to topics to quickly view important content, such as knowledge articles, catalog, items, internal pages, and external links.").

## Procedure

1. On the Employee Center home page, click a root topic.
If the root topic has quick links associated with it, and if you have access to the quick links, then those quick links are displayed for that root topic on the mega menu.
   Note:
The external link icon (![External link icon.]()) next to a quick link indicates that it is an external link.
2. Click any quick link that you want to view.
Depending on the content type associated with the quick link, the relevant content is displayed.
   Note:
External link and megamenu are supported for accessibility. Fields include a tooltip icon and Screen readers read the tooltip when the icon is in focus.
