HR

Use Badges to create or modify visual indicators that provide
quick insights into important attributes of employees, cases, or assigned users, such as
organization, role, status, or special conditions on the HR Ticket
page.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_hr_core.admin

## About this task

Badges are configurable labels in HR workspace that display
important employee or case information, such as status, employment type, and special
flags.  
Custom badges only appear for specific types of HR activities.

* The base system provides defaults and is configurable.
* On the HR Ticket page, you can filter to-dos based on badges.
* Defaults are added to HR services.
* Can be overridden on an Activity.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllHR AdministrationBadges.
2. Click New or open a record.
3. Fill in the fields on the form.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Name | Name of the HR badge. Provide up to three characters to represent an organization, such as HR for Human Resources or IT for Information Technology. |
   | Badge description | Description of the HR badge. |

4. Click Submit or Update.
