Manage objects and elements in your CAD file using the Map Configuration tab.

Select a layer or place to preview it on the Map configuration preview layout.

   Georeference and position your source floor plan on the map to scale it.
2. [Configure layers](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/w8nogOVYtkkIU3fXFvereQ)  
   Select a layer on the Map Configuration preview and edit it.
3. [Configure places](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/Bdq5esBVVuOtRccmCAftOQ)  
   Configure Places using the Map Configuration preview layout. Retrieve place types from the CAD file.
