The email notifications provide alerts to the recruiters when a task is completed by an applicant.

Receive a notification when one of your applicants completes an assigned task from the Applicant Center portal.

The same is visible on the application record page in Recruitment workspace. If the applicant attached a document while completing a task, the attachment is visible in the Attachments section in the Tasks
tab.

Receive a reminder email when an assigned task is overdue. The Notify Recruiters when Due Date is yesterday(Overdue by one day) scheduled job is active by default.
