Create a growth plan based on one of your aspirations to help you move towards a new role.

## Before you begin

Role required: None

## About this task

Growth plans are based on your individual needs and aspirations and can help you move towards a new role.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllSelf-ServiceEmployee Center.
2. At the Your Career drop-down list, select Growth plans.
3. Select the Create a growth plan button.
4. Select Get Started if this is your first time creating a growth plan.
5. Select the role-based Aspiration.
6. Select the Nextbutton.  
   Note:  
   If the Skills Foundation property sn_skills_int.enable_skills is set to true, growth plans will give you the option to select skills to focus on that are related to the role.
7. Select additional activities for your growth plan.  
   Note:  
   The additional activities might be either required or optional.
8. Select Create plan  
   Note:  
   If Learning is installed, growth plans might show some suggested learnings. If the Skills Foundation property sn_skills_int.enable_skills is set to true, growth plans might show learning courses related to the skill you've selected for your aspiration, if applicable. You can search learning to add courses to your growth plan.

## Result

The draft growth plan is created and will be shared with your manager once the plan is launched.

## What to do next

* Launch plan so it can be shared with your manager.
* Review your progress.
* Continue to edit your growth plan.
