# Manage scenarios using Space Planning

# Manage scenarios using Space Planning {#ariaid-title1}

Create, copy, or delete space planning scenarios.

## Before you begin

To manage scenarios, verify that the following plugins are installed:

* Workplace Core
* Workplace Space Management
* Indoor Mapping (for map-based administration)
* Workplace Case Management
* Workplace Central
* Workplace Service Delivery components

Role required: sn_wsd_spcmgmt.space_planner, sn_wsd_spcmgmt.scenario_reader (read only; to view a scenario)

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllWorkplace CentralWorkplace Central.
2. On the side navigation, select the Space Planning module.  
   The Space Planning workspace opens with the Floor plan tab selected by default.
3. Select the Scenarios tab.  
   The list of scenarios opens with details like their name, location, group by value, state, and owner.
4. Manage the scenarios based on your requirement.

   | Create a scenario | 1. On the Scenarios list, select Create Scenario. 2. On the Create new scenario form, fill in the fields.For a description of the field values, [Scenario details form](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/4sucPQB_XdSBezZw_56d1g "Use the scenario details form to select the scenario owner, location, group by selection, and space selection criteria."). 3. Select Save scenario. The new scenario is created in the Processing state and takes some time to move to the Draft state. You can't open a scenario that is in the Processing state. 4.    | View or edit a scenario | Select a scenario to view information like the floor details and space KPIs. Edit a scenario to allocate spaces to projects and neighborhoods, assign spaces to users, or edit space assignments.    | Publish a scenario | Publish a scenario so it's available for others to view in a read-only mode. Share the scenario with colleagues or stakeholders to review.    | Deploy a scenario | Deploy a scenario to implement the changes in the production workplace data.    | Change the owner of a scenario | Change the owner of a scenario to enable other space planners to edit the scenario.
