# Add workplace contract options in Core UI

Add workplace contract options such as option to renew, option to sub lease, option to terminate to store the lease contract options.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_wsd_la.manager or sn_wsd_la.admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllWorkplace Lease AdministrationWorkplace Contracts.
2. Select a contract.
3. In the Workplace Contract Options related list, select New.
4. On the Workplace Contract Option form, fill in the fields.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Option number | Number indicating the contract option. |
   | Option type | Type of option. |
   | Workplace contract | Workplace contract reference. |
   | Effective date | Date when the option becomes effective. |
   | Must exercise by | Date by when the option can be exercised by the tenant. |
   | Renewal expiration | Renewal term expiration date. |
   | Notice period | Notice period to exercise an option |
   | Comment | Description of the contract option. |

5. Select Submit.

## Result

The contract options are added to the contract.
