# Add workplace contract responsibilities in Core UI

Add workplace responsibilities to indicate who (landlord or tenant) is responsible for different activities such as lawn maintenance, painting, repairing.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_wsd_la.manager or sn_wsd_la.admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllWorkplace Lease AdministrationWorkplace Contracts.
2. Select a contract.
3. In the Workplace Contract Responsibilities related list, select New.
4. On the Workplace Contract Responsibility form, fill in the fields.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Responsibility type | Describes the nature of work. For example, Repair. |
   | Financial responsibility | Describes which party has to pay for the work. |
   | Execution responsibility | Describes which party has to take up the work. |
   | Granted in lease | Option to specify whether the activity addressed in the lease contract. |
   | Workplace contract | Workplace contract reference. |
   | Service | Activity for which the responsibilities are being defined. |
   | Description | Description of the responsibility. |
   | Document section | Reference in the contract document where the responsibility is described. |
   | Document name | Reference in the contract document where the responsibility is described. |
   | Document page | Reference in the contract document where the responsibility is described. |

5. Select Submit.

The contract responsibilities are added to the contract.
