Create a schedule for regular maintenance or downtime for an equipment
instance.

## Before you begin

Role required: wm_admin, wm_dispatcher

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllField ServiceEquipment ResourcesEquipment Instances.
2. Select an instance.
3. In the Resource Events related list, click New.
4. On the form, fill in the fields.

   | Fields | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Resource | Name of the equipment instance. |
   | Type | Type of resource event. * Downtime * Maintenance {#create-maint-sched-for-eq-instance__ul_k1x_mx5_dwb} |
   | Schedule | Schedule for this downtime or maintenance. |

5. Click Update.

## Result

The schedule appears under the Resource Events related list
and on Dispatcher Workspace.
