Inventory management is the process of keeping track of parts and supplies, including the transfer of parts, consumption, adjustments and more.

Parts represent items which field service agents may need while completing a work order. Parts can be physical items, like a battery, or may be non-physical components, like an oil change or a estimate. Both physical and non-physical
products are measured and sold in quantity of units.
