Operational Resilience is the ability of an organization to respond to
the adverse operational events by anticipating, preventing, recovering from, and adapting to
such events.

## Operational Resilience overview {#grc-opres-landing-page__section_txq_b2y_b5b}

In today's changing business landscape, an organization may face various operational risks
at unanticipated times. Every function of your business plays an important role in
maintaining and promoting operational resilience. For example, the Risk team must have the
right governance in place to identify and respond to operational risks. The IT team must
identify and address the existing and potential threats.
