# Create article template

# Create a GRC article template {#ariaid-title1}

Policy and Compliance managers can create templates for policy article publishing.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_compliance.developer

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllPolicy and ComplianceAdministrationArticle Templates.
2. Click New.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Name | Name of the article template. |
   | Type | * Script * HTML * XML {#t_CreateArticleTemplate__ul_ryf_dlc_yv} |
   | Script | The script code. This field depends on the Type field. |
   | HTML | The HTML code. This field depends on the Type field. |
   | XML | The XML code. This field depends the Type field. |
   | Is default | Option to indicate that this template is used as the default template for all KB articles. |

4. Click Submit.
