# Review and activate automation source

Review all configurations for the automation source, and then activate the automation source.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_ac.automation_technical_user or sn_ac.automation_admin

Proceed from the Map source values section. For information on aligning source and destination values, see [Map source values](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/fNiBQu_k5V94hJXTp6DCcg "Map the source state values with the destination state values.").

## Procedure

1. Review all details and make any edits required.  
   If you change the spoke or action, you will need to redo all the subsequent tasks.
2. Select Activate.  
   The Automation sources list is displayed with the newly created automation source.
