Configure privacy policies to anonymize data in Now Assist.

## Before you begin

You must have the following applications installed on your instance:

If you do not have a data steward, see [Assign the data steward role](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/d1MOFyvveWZyEWNAuAPkUQ "Select a data steward to make decisions about data sharing with ServiceNow in Now Assist applications.") documentation.

Role required: sn_generative_ai.data_steward

## About this task

The Now Assist Privacy Policies enables you to review and configure how personally identifiable information (PII) is de-identified in Now Assist.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllNow Assist AdminSettings.
2. In the navigation pane, go to Data sharing and processingPrivacy policies.
3. Select View detail of the privacy polic you want to review.  
   Review the policy details and current active patterns in the pop-up window.
4. **Optional:** Select Edit in Data Privacy.
