# Create custom enterprise product models

# Create custom enterprise product models {#ariaid-title1}

If you have a product model that is not represented in the Enterprise Asset Management Content Service yet, you can create a custom product
model.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_eam.enterprise_admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllEnterprise Asset WorkspaceNormalization.
2. Select the Custom enterprise product models tab.
3. Select New.
4. Fill in the form details.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Model Name | Name of the enterprise product model. |
   | Manufacturer | Name of the manufacturer of the enterprise product model. |
   | Model type | The model type. |
   | Description | A detailed description of the product model. |
   | Active | Indicates that the model is active. |
   | Exclude from content service | Option that excludes the product model details from being transferred to the Enterprise Asset Management Content Service even though you opted-in. |

5. Select Save.  
   After the product model is created, normalize the product model.
