# Enable the asset pick tasks for a stockroom

# Enable the Asset pick task for your stockroom in the Hardware Asset Workspace {#ariaid-title1}

Enable the Asset pick task for your stockroom so that the task is automatically added to Standard Hardware Asset requests, Hardware Asset Refresh requests, and Sourcing workflow.

## Before you begin

Role required: inventory_user

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesHardware Asset WorkspaceInventory.
2. Select the All stockrooms tab.
3. From the list of available stockrooms, select the stockroom for which you want to enable the Asset pick task.
4. On the Stockroom Details form, select the Warehouse tasks required check box.
5. Select Save.
