Key Features
- Start and End Dates: Define the allocation period, which must fall within the resource plan's overall dates.
- Resource Selection: Resources can be selected and filtered by group, role, or user based on the resource plan criteria.
- Confirmed/Allocated Hours: Displays the number of hours confirmed or allocated for the resource, which roll up to the resource plan’s corresponding field.
- Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) and Person Days: These fields appear depending on the request type chosen in the resource plan, allowing you to specify allocation units accordingly.
- Planned and Confirmed/Allocated Costs: Costs are calculated by multiplying hours by an hourly rate derived from various sources such as resource plan overrides, rate models linked to projects or demands, labor rate cards, or a default system property. These cost values aggregate up to the resource plan for comprehensive financial tracking.
- Multicurrency Support: When the PPM Standard Multicurrency plugin is activated, costs are available in demand or project currency views to support global financial management.
- Configurable Form Fields: Some cost fields are not visible by default but can be added through form configuration to suit your reporting needs.
