  • The requirement form enables you to create or modify requirements for a demand.

    Table 1. Requirement form
    Field Description
    Number Unique identification number for the requirement. This number is automatically generated when an entry is created.
    Source User requesting the requirement.

    This field is automatically set to the name of the user filling out the form. The source can be a different user who identified the requirement.

    Owner User responsible for managing or fulfilling the requirement.

    This field is automatically set to the name of the user filling out the form. The owner can be a different user who is identified to manage the requirement.

    Estimated effort Approximate effort required to fulfill the requirement and any associated tasks.
    Priority Urgency and importance of the requirement. Requirements are created with the Low priority.
    The available values are:
    • Critical
    • High
    • Moderate
    • Low
    • Planning
    State Current state of the requirement. Requirements are created in the Pending state.
    The available values are:
    • Pending
    • Approved
    • Rejected
    Note:
    This state is independent of the demand state and the states of any planned tasks associated with the requirement. The demand can be completed without closing the requirement. Closing the demand doesn't change the state of the requirement.
    Type Type of the requirement.
    The available values are:
    • Business
    • Solution (Functional)
    • Solution (Non-Functional)
    • Quality
    • Stakeholder
    • Transition
    Short description Brief description of the requirement.
    Description Detailed description of the requirement and any associated tasks. For example, description of an expected outcome or result of the requirement.
